Last day with the kids.

Today was so awsome & heartbraking at the same time. We went back & watched the kids skate again. Like we knew they would, they both took gold in both their races. It was so cool to watch them & to make them feel loved, because they really are cool.
We got to meet the other two athletes today. They were the two kids that John knows & I think I remember them from his blog - about a trip he took to the orphanage. There is a little boy named David & a little girl that I don't know her name (Svetlana, I think). ( at least I can't say it) She was trying to be shy & I had a hard time getting her photo. David was the cutest little boy he was so nice & sat with me during the races & after them. They are both 10 years old & anyone would be blessed to have them in there family. We loved them just from our short time with them. I know how John could have rememberd them.

This is Zhazgul getting her golds, she is so sweet. She is 12 years old & she is shy also. She is waving at us.

This is David. I just love his face & how good he was. He also has the best laugh what a guy.
This is the cross county team, that sat with us.
This is the little ones coach. She had them all by herself. They are holding the blankets that we got for them. I brought all the kids blankets to help keep them warm.

This is Adilet in the back. He is 20 years old and he won two gold medals. This is where the sad & happy thing happend. David, if you look at him, is wearing one of Adilet's gold medals. Adilet gave him his gold medal becuase David got disqualified from his race. They told us that he got disqualified because he went too fast for his group that he was in. It was so sad because he did not get anything at all. But Adilet was so nice. I was so upset about it that I called the main place & told them about what happend. I told them that everyone got something but this one little boy. They told me that they would call me back tonight & let me know what happens to David. I told them that they should at least give him a little ribbon that said he was here. So I pray they do something for him.

Our time we got to spend with them was priceless & something we will not forget. We thank them for coming & loved every little bit. Please pray for them to get home safely. They fly home tomorrow night. As we all know that is a long fight. God bless them.

So the family reunion.... Aunt Barb and Uncle Ron are leaving the 7th to head down and are stopping in Fresno to see Aunt Boer and then will be at Disney the 8th. Then the plan is to stay 4 days at the parks. They are also talking about getting rental houses instead of hotels so i will look more into that and let you know.
