The results are back

I have been waiting for a long time to post anything. We were waiting for some tests to come back to see if she had whooping cough or not. It has been a long wait but they called me today to let me know that they had no idea what was wrong with her. We did take the meds for the cough & the cough is all most gone.( praise God) For a while we thought that she had something real bad. We took her to the doc that said that she had a lot of babys that were from other places & knew what to look for. Well I don't know what to think, she never found out what was wrong with Destiny. So should I get another doc or stick with her? The first time we went in she said that there was nothing wrong with her, she said that her cough was just in her throat. So a week later when she was coughing so bad that she sounded like she was having dry heaves. I took her back, she coughed & coughed untel the doc walked in, then she would not cough again. She did cough a little after she had been crying for a while, but not like she was before. So we did the test that took a long time to come back, & now we know no more about what was wrong with her then before.

Now on to better new she has changhed so much since we came home. Before she could not hold your hand, now she has a very good grip. Before she could not stand on her legs( she had jelly legs), now she loves to stand. I know you will think I am crazy but I think she can say hi & ya. When you say hi to her she almost always says hi back to you. When you ask her if she wants a drink she almost always says ya. It is so cute!

She can not roll over yet but she is very close, she gets half way then goes back when she gets what she wants. She can sit with people to watch her for a little while then she falls down. It is coming & she is getting it, that is good enough for me.

When we took her in they said that she was in the 15th percentile on weight & 5th in height. Then they took her back to when she should have been born, & she was 50th in weight & 28th in height they said she looked good, we know that. She always looked good to us. The only thing that they said bad was that she has a premie head. What does that mean? We thing her head is just fine just needs some more hair on it.

So I bet you would like to know what we have been doing since we got back. Well we have been going going gone. We went to family camp whitch she loved very much, she loves being out & under the trees. Also our middle daughter ( that just sounds weird to me) went back to collage so we took a road trip to get her all moved back in. Then our oldest daughter went to Coasta Rica on Monday, so we took her to the airport, & ran home to take the boys to school. Boy is the house quiet now.

But before they all went there own way. I thought that I would never get to hold her again. The girls wanted to take her with them everywhere they went. Then when she was home the boys had to hold her all the time. I don't think she got very good sleep tell night. When all the kids went to sleep. Then she would sleep very good, some times she does not get up tell 10am. Boy do I like that, because so do I. She is a very good baby she likes all people & will go to anyone with out crying, tell she can't see one of us. Then she lets them know that she would like one of us back. She still has the smallest cry I have ever heard, but it has got a little bigger if she don't get your attention. But it still sounds like a little kitty.

Well would you like to see some photos of how she looks now?

This was her last bath, she is not a fan of baths, but she does like to take showers. Look at that tummy. This was taken a week after we got home.
This little cape was given to us by some friends in MT. We think she looks so cute in it, & she likes it alot.
I was going to post two days ago on her 6 month birthday, but I was working at a Bill Gaither show. It was good from what I could hear. She is a big girl now, at least she thinks so. This her standing, she loves to stand up. She smiles & smiles & thinks she is so big.

As for all of us this has been a very big blessing to have her in our lifes & we can't think of how it would be with out her here.

I would like to tell you what happend in the hotel as we were taking Brittany to school that night. We got to our hotel & all sleeping when my oldest boy started to hitting me. When he woke up I asked him how come he was hitting me. He told me about his dream. He said that someone was trying to take his baby sister, & that someone had already shot him so he was trying to hit him to get her back. That is when he found out he was hitting me. He said that he can't reameber what it was like not having her in his life, & he said that he can't think about leaving her when he goes to collage next year. He said that he would have to put her in his bag & take her with him. That is so sweet for a 18 year old boy. I love all my kids so much, & would not know what to do with out their smiles & love. They rock my world!!!

Love ya all!

Were home!

It has been a long time since I have wrote anything. We have been on a big roller coaster since we left Bishkek. The crossing was anything but fun. Then when we got to the hotel I could not blog anymore. Something happened to it & it just would not let me in.

So do you want to know what happend after we left Bishkek?

Well the drive over there was very nice. Burt & Gem, & us were in the same van. The other two familes were in there own cars. Like I said the drive was nice & then we got to the border & all things changed. Apirl's car went through first & she got out of her car & went in. Well to say that was the last we saw her was true until it was all done. Then the arm went up again & the other two cars went in, us being one of them. So we got out of our van & walked inside. Terry & I were first in line so we went first. They looked at our papers & let us go. So we waited for the others. Well that was not what we should have done because the cop came up to us & took her passport from us. That scard me just a little because he went out of sight. Well he took it back over to the desk & they started all over again.

After they got done with all our familys we had to walk over to the Kazakhstan. The best way to tell you what that was like is to say that it is like walking over to Mexico. You walk across the bridge & there are so many people over there. It was like being in a mall at Chistmas - so many people - & I don't like being in that kind of thing. So it was hard on us. We walked into this place that was full of people & our coordinator told us to follow him. We pushed to the very front of this line of people that had been there for a while. There was no air in there & it was very hot, but they got one of our familes done. Then it was our turn. We got almost done when he grabbed the family behind us & took them to another line. That made some people in the other line very mad at them. Anyway that man went to the cops & tried to keep us from going into that country. He said that we were taking the babys. To say the least we were scard & that man would not give up. Finally they made them let us go & oh how good it felt to get out of there. Now I don't want you to think this happens to everyone, it just happend to us. Oh! we did find Apirl on down the road just like we all knew she would be, but some of us thought that she would be at the hotel by then. lol Well that is about our crossing it was very hard, but the babys were very good thru it all, just not us.

Now on to Destiny, she is the best baby ever. She loves to go in the car, she loves to fly, & likes her car seat, & boy does she like to sleep. Just a great baby!
Since we got home, she is never alone. The kids are always wanting to take her somewhere or just hold her. We thought that when we got home she would start to cry louder. Well that did not happen. She still cries very, very little. It sounds like a kitty cat or a whale call. The kids can't tell if she is crying or laughing. It is so cute.

This is a photo of all the kids looking at there new baby sister, she is so loved.

This is our very happy baby, she has grown since we were there but not too much. She can't sit up yet with out help but likes to be put up.

Everyday is a new day & everyday she learns something new. She has learned so much since we came home. Well I guess I will tell you about that next time.

I hope the wait was not too long. I did miss posting & I am so GLAD to be home.

Love ya all! Thank you for the prayers they were needed.

Countdown to Destiny
